Step 1

Download the sound on Nord’s site

Nord libraries are free. Pick a piano or a sample on the official site, preview it and download the file. In step 3 you choose which keyboard it goes to.

Nord libraries are © Clavia DMI AB. The download happens on Nord’s site; AmostraLab does not host the sounds.

Step 2 · Upload the .npno or .nsmp4 you downloaded

Step 3 · Which keyboard?

On the keyboard

  1. Download a piano (.npno) or a sample (.nsmp4) on Nord’s site.
  2. Upload the downloaded file in the converter on this page.
  3. Download the .sf2 and open it in the DAW or a SoundFont player. XL pianos go past 300 MB.
  4. Want it on a Fantom or a Motif? Convert the .sf2 on that keyboard’s page.

Only use sounds you have the right to use. AmostraLab does not host Nord libraries and does not keep the generated SF2 in the catalog.

Other keyboards

SF2 too big? Remove presets in the Editor first and convert only what you will use. No file? Grab a sound from the library and send it straight here. Previous conversions Download it again from History, within the download limit.
